Honda Aircraft Company invites visitors to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2024 to see the HondaJet, marking the return of the popular aircraft from last year.  This year, deliveries of the plane saw the worldwide HondaJet fleet surpass over 230,000 flight hours across more than 250 units in service. Honda exhibition reflects global brand slogan “The Power of Dreams - How We Move You.”

Honda Aircraft Company will provide visitors the opportunity to explore the joy of mobility across the history of Honda products, showcasing Honda’s journey from the production of motorcycles and automobiles, to marine and power products, into the sky. Honda IndyCar HRC and first generation 1975 Honda Civic CVCC, now a rare collector’s car, will feature.  Honda Aircraft Company sets the record again this year, presenting its largest display of Honda products in history at this year’s EAA AirVenture.

Another highlight of the “All Honda” exhibition will include an interactive augmented reality experience, where visitors can enjoy seeing how they would look in Honda’s newest “The Power of Dreams: How We Move You” commercial.  This experience will involve pictures, which visitors may choose to share on their social media. As part of Honda’s ongoing commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Honda Aircraft Company will use Sustainable Aviation Fuel credits (SAFc) to offset carbon emissions related to its participation in EAA AirVenture. Honda Aircraft Company proudly sponsors the EAA GirlVenture Camp for the eighth consecutive year.  This four-day event connects high school students with mentors in the aviation industry, offering workshops and scholarship opportunities to support women in aviation.

HondaJet Elite II is the latest step in the evolution of the HondaJet, a very light business jet designed and produced entirely by Honda Aircraft, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Building on the heritage of nine years of HondaJet products on the aviation market, the HondaJet Elite II is a leading competitor among very light business jets.  The HondaJet Elite II flies faster, further, and higher than any other plane in its class.  The aircraft incorporates the company’s iconic Over-the-Wing Engine Mount (OTWEM) to improve both external performance characteristics and internal passenger comfort.

The HondaJet Elite II is powered by two GE Honda Aero HF120 jet engines, designed to maximize fuel economy and performance.  The HF120 engine has passed fuel tests utilizing a 100% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) fuel blend.

The HondaJet Elite II also introduces new control features to the HondaJet lineage, such as automated ground spoilers, which provide additional stability close to the ground.  Federal Aviation Administration approval of an autothrottle system, a first for a jet in this category, is nearing completion, with the approval process for a full rollout of Emergency Auto-Landing capabilities planned to follow.
