Volga-Dnepr Gulf, a division of Volga-Dnepr Technics (an aircraft MRO branch of Volga-Dnepr Group in the Middle East region) completed the first C-check maintenance service for a B737-300 operated by Kyrgyzstan-based Avia Traffic Company, at its hangar facility in Sharjah, UAE.
Avia Traffic aircraft was subjected to the full maintenance workscope including C2+C1, AD/SB + A1 + A2 + A3 + A4 checks and CPCP program. This base maintenance was performed under a certificate issued by Kyrgyzstan aviation authority authorizing VD Gulf to accomplish all types of line and base maintenance services for В737-300/400/500.
According to Victor Sherin, Volga-Dnepr Gulf Managing Director, “The first C-check was successfully done by the Company and became a new phase in development of both our Company and overall Volga-Dnepr Technics. Volga-Dnepr Gulf has been running its businesses in UAE since 1996. At Sharjah Airport, the Company and operates a new 22,000 m2 modern hangar facility providing aircraft maintenance and repair services, capable of accommodating at a time six narrow- or two wide-body aircraft like B747 or АN-124-100. The maintenance facility has available all necessary equipment to provide maintenance services for various types of airplanes within C-check scope, and modern air conditioning and fire systems. The hangar includes fully equipped areas for structural and wheel repair.
Volga-Dnepr Gulf holds an EASA (PART-145) certificates. The Company has been certified to provide maintenance services for B747-400, B737 CL, B737NG, and A320 Family, and Russia-built airplanes including IL-76, АN-24, АN-26, АN-32, АN-74 and АN-124. Apart from Sharjah, there is a line maintenance station run by the Company in Fujairah providing all types of maintenance and supporting services for AN-124-100, AN-74, and IL-76ТD airplanes operated in Russia, Europe, Asia and Africa, for which scopes Volga-Dnepr Gulf holds relevant authorizations.
