SuperJet International (SJI) – as MRO provider for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) customers – received the extension of the Part 145 maintenance capabilities up to “2 years check”.
The approval has been released by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) following a formal audit, which confirmed the conformity of SuperJet International AMO (Approved Maintenance Organization) with the requirements of EASA Part 145.
This important step allows SuperJet International’s AMO to extend its Base Maintenance capabilities up to “2 years check”, supporting the SSJ100 fleet on a EASA basis.
The extension of SJI AMO Base Maintenance represents a plus for the SSJ100 western customers, which enlarges the SJI maintenance support made particularly at the initial stage of aircraft’s delivery and (EIS) Entry into Service. At the same time SSJ100 operators can also rely on a dedicated MRO network, built in partnerships with recognized MRO providers worldwide for first-class line and base airframe maintenance services.
Stefano Marazzani, Chief Executive Officer of SuperJet International: “This planned achievement confirms SuperJet International’s commitment in improving services to SSJ100 customers. This is the result of an effective team-work, which makes us proud.”
