Sabena technics has been selected by CMA CGM AIR CARGO for the maintenance of its four Airbus A330 Cargo aircraft, which will be operated from Roissy-CDG. Under this new multi-year contract, Sabena technics teams based at Roissy-CDG will provide line support for the fleet as well as associated logistics services to support CMA CGM AIR CARGO's growing operations. Sabena technics has been supporting CMA CGM AIR CARGO's fleet of Boeing 777 Freighters since June 2022.
Philippe Rochet, Executive Chairman of the Sabena technics Group, commented: "We are delighted with the confidence that CMA CGM has shown in us. They can count on our teams to support them and offer them the best level of service. We have recognized expertise on the Airbus A330, with more than 400 major maintenance events performed at three of our sites in France. Our flexibility to adapt to changing flight schedules is also essential; it is proven and recognized. This contract also highlights our ability to support our customers at all operating bases, in this case at Roissy-CDG. We master the entire maintenance chain on this type of aircraft."
Maintenance checks (Check A) and airworthiness management (CAMO) will also be carried out for CMA CGM AIR CARGO with the help of the Bordeaux, Nîmes and Perpignan sites, all of which are capable of handling the Airbus A330.
