An Aircraft Repair Plant #405 JSC, Kazakhstan, has passed examination procedure by the Helicopters of Russia joint stock company and is currently recognized, as an authorized aircraft repair enterprise in Kazakhstan, according to the Defense Ministry’s Press Service.
In the course of the Army 2016 international military-technical forum in Kubinka Moscow Oblast, Russia, leadership of the Kazakhstan’s plant was awarded with a relevant document.
As part of the warranty and after-sales service system, the Helicopters of Russia JSC together with the design bureau of the Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant JSC confirmed the high quality of overhaul, maintenance, repair of components for such helicopters, as Mi-8T, Mi-8P, Mi-8PS, Mi-17, Mi-8 MTV-1, Mi-17-1B, MI- 8AMT, Mi-171 (E) and Mi-172, conducted by this Kazakh enterprise.
The certificate will allow to carry out all kinds of work on the specified type of aircraft equipment in Kazakhstan.
Thus, the tripartite agreement signed by Helicopters of Russia JSC, Kazakhstan Engineering NC JSC and Aircraft Repair Plant #405 JSC at KADEX-2016, the fourth international exhibition, yielded the first results, as regards after-sales maintenance of helicopters inKazakhstan.
The Aircraft Repair Plant #405 JSC has been implementing a program on maintaining Russian-made helicopters throughout the country since 2012. The aim of this program is to improve safety, to ensure trouble-free operation and bring the quality of services on maintenance and repair services to international standards.
