The United States’ Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an Air Agency Certificate for Deer Jet to operate repair stations. The leading business jet operator took part in the annual tests on continuous updated maintenance procedures and FAA regulations, thus becoming one of the very few FAA certified repair stations in Mainland China.

The FAA certified repair station status allows Deer Jet to engage in the maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, and alteration of aircraft and aircraft products registered in the US (N-number).

The FAA issues certificates under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 145 to facilities located both inside and outside the United States. The total number of domestic and foreign repair stations has grown tremendously to meet the globalization of air travel and maintenance demands. At last count, there were approximately 5,000 Part 145 repair stations worldwide and only 45 registered in Mainland China.

This certification is received after the evaluation of compliance to the appropriate regulations and safe operating practices of the MRO facility, personnel, equipment, and operating rules. The certificate positions Deer Jet as the top choice for private jet owners and operators looking for repair station services in China.
