Over 30 students from an Asian polytechnic college completed 6-week practice training in Ameco on October 16th. The enrollment of students added 50% in 2015 because of the attractive course design. The cooperation is twice per year between this institution and Ameco since 2011. It's specially noted that avionic contents increases electronic besides mechanic training. Students may enter the cabin and cockpit of a real aircraft to learn and practice; moreover, they can also use Airbus simulation software to know kinds of systems and structure.
Ameco Aviation College established in 1991, carrying out German "dual training system" not only theory but also practice. As the approved CAAC basic license test station, Ameco can provide basic skills training. On the basis of satisfying its own mechanics, it also can meet the request of 3rd-party customers by making customer-tailored courses.
In 2015, Ameco Aviation College also provided electronic skill training for one domestic customer, which helped them obtain first prize during industry skill contest. In addition, it became the national training base for engineering universities in 2011. Just two months ago in 2015, over 20 students from one famous civil aviation university of China got the training here including basic skills, theoretical knowledge, workshop practice, etc.. It indicated a new training mode for Ameco Aviation College to help nurture high-qualified engineers in universities. The focus is learning in order to practice. "Ameco Aviation College also adds particular module including time pressure, management, teamwork and Lean project; "such the contents students cannot have at school", said Mr. Li, responsible for course management.
Training 1,000 students at the same time, Ameco Aviation College is certified by CCAR147 and EASA147. Its basic and skills training course design meet CCAR66; type training meets CCAR66 and EASA66. It follows the new type of aircraft and develops the related training, e.g. Boeing 747-8 and Boeing 787 type-rating courses. On the basis of advanced hardware facilities and training management system, its training quality gains attention from the market.
