AEROCOR, LLC announced its official partnership with the Eclipse Jet Owners and Pilots Association to deliver a Flight Operational Quality Assurance program tailored specifically for the Eclipse jet fleet. Following a successful four-month beta testing period, the FOQA program is now available to all Eclipse Jet owners at no cost. This initial release focuses on stabilized approach monitoring, utilizing approach criteria developed jointly by AEROCOR and EJOPA. The system evaluates pilot performance based on real flight data, providing a powerful tool for self-assessment and operational safety.
The stabilized approach monitoring feature will be fully integrated into AEROCOR's recurrent training syllabus, enabling instructors to personalize training using real-world data and trends from each pilot's own flying.
Gavin Woodman, President of AEROCOR commented: "We're incredibly excited about the role this data can play in improving operational safety across the Eclipse fleet. By giving pilots and instructors access to meaningful insights, we can move beyond one-size-fits-all training and support a culture of continuous improvement."
In addition to enhancing safety and training outcomes, participation in FOQA programs should also support lower insurance premiums by demonstrating proactive risk management and data-driven oversight.
Building on this launch, AEROCOR is already developing additional FOQA capabilities, which are slated for release in the coming months. These enhancements will further expand the safety and training value of the platform, reinforcing AEROCOR and EJOPA's shared commitment to the Eclipse community.
