Pilots of the Russian Aerospace Force will demonstrate the most complex and impressive aerobatics elements. More than 20 crews of Russia’s Aerospace Force will perform aerobatic maneuvers at the close of the Aviadarts 2016 international air force competition in Ryazan in central Russia on August 9, the Defense Ministry said on Monday.

The aerobatic groups Russian Knights, Swifts, Falcons of Russia and Golden Eagles will stage performance for the spectators. Solo pilotage will be demonstrated by the crews of Kamov Ka-52 and Mil Mi-28N helicopters, as well as by the crews of Sukhoi Su-30SM, Su-27 and Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jets," the Defense Ministry said.

Pilots of the Russian Aerospace Force will demonstrate the most complex and impressive aerobatics elements: a flight at extremely small speeds, synchronized barrel rolls as part of an aviation group, the paired tailslide, the unfolding tulip, the mirror and many others.

At the close of Aviadarts-2016, the winners of the competitions will receive cars as the top prize. The silver prize holders will get quad bikes and the bronze prize winners will receive scooters. The results of the competitions will be summed up in 10 categories based on the branches of aviation and also for the best group and solo aircraft and helicopter flying.

"According to the preliminary competition results, Russian pilots are leading in all the categories," the Defense Ministry said.

About 50 aviation crews from Russia, China, Kazakhstan and Belarus practiced the combat use of small arms, missile and bomb armament against various targets, and also competed in the skills to comply with the standards of piloting, navigation and air reconnaissance techniques.
