VistaJet, partnering with Priester Aviation, has expanded its services with the introduction of the Challenger 350 to its U.S. fleet. Priester Aviation is operating three VistaJet-owned Challenger 350s for VistaJet’s Flight Solutions Program. VistaJet is the agent for customers of the program.

Europe-based VistaJet announced plans in late 2013 to expand into the U.S. The company had struck agreements with Jet Aviation Flight Services to operate a fleet of 12 Bombardier Globals and with Wheels Up to market the services.

With the addition of the Challengers, VistaJet has built its fleet to seven aircraft in the U.S. and 55 worldwide. “We are pleased with the rate of growth in the U.S. and are delighted to add service on the Challenger 350 to complement the larger Global 5000s,” said VistaJet founder and chairman Thomas Flohr. “Our alliance with Priester Aviation solidifies our commitment to the North American market.”

The Challenger provides a transcontinental option for VistaJet customers, in addition to the international capabilities of the Globals. VistaJet said it has been pleased by the success of the initial roll-out of the Challenger services. As the program gains momentum, Priester set a world speed record in the type on October 28 on a trip from Napa Valley in California to the Cayman Islands. The aircraft completed the 2,774-mile trip in 5 hours and 5 minutes, averaging Mach 0.83 at FL410, with three crew and two passengers on board.
