TAG Aviation today announced the strengthening of its footprint into the Russian market with the appointment of Igor Minakov as TAG’s first
ever Russian Service Representative, to be based in Moscow, effective from 1 st March 2016.

Mr Minakov brings over thirty years’ charter and operations experience to this pivotal new role and an extensive network of contacts within the Russian aviation market. He formerly trained to become a licensed Air Traffic Controller at Leningrad Civil Aviation Academy after which he spent fifteen years working in Air Traffic Control based in Minks and Moscow. From 2006 onwards Mr Minakov has held several management positions for a number of different Moscow-based aviation companies.

Welcoming his new appointment, Mr Minakov said: “At such an important time in TAG’s evolution globally I am delighted to be joining the organisation to fulfill such an exciting new role and advance TAG Aviation’s expansion within the Russian aviation market. I look forward to future working collaborations with TAG’s European senior management team and establishing strong working relationships with TAG colleagues in Moscow, in addition to focusing on actively advancing new business associations and opportunities within the region.”

interested parties.”

TAG Aviation Europe offers a broad range of business aviation services including aircraft management, charter, maintenance, FBO/handling and bespoke crew training. Operating from bases in Switzerland, the UK and Spain, the company manages Europe’s largest fleet with over 80 aircraft, of which nearly 50 are available for charter. The company also boasts two of Europe’s most experienced and capable aircraft maintenance centres, located in Geneva and Farnborough, along with local maintenance support in Paris, Sion (Switzerland) and Madrid.
