Jet Aviation Dubai has secured approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for its Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Shop.
Jet Aviation Dubai introduced non-destructive testing as part of its maintenance service portfolio upon receiving Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for its NDT Shop in November 2015. With these new approvals, Jet Aviation Dubai is authorized to provide florescent penetrant testing (FT), ultrasonic testing (UT) and eddy current testing (ET) to all aircraft registered in the U.S., Europe and the UAE.
“We are delighted to expand our NDT testing capabilities to offer support to EASA- and GCAA-registered aircraft operating in the Middle East and South East Asia,” says Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Dubai. “In a fast-paced industry such as aviation, NDT technologies help identify latent issues and are an integral part of business jet maintenance. Our in-house NDT capabilities enable us to provide these services seamlessly, which further helps reduce the downtime of our customers’ aircraft.”
