Deer Jet, the Asian premier business aviation group, has earned International Standard for Business Aircraft Operation IS-BAO Stage II Registration for its Beijing and Shanghai branches, highlighting the company’s unbreakable commitment to excellence and its adherence to the highest international standards for its Safety Management Systems (SMS).

The International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations, is a code of best practices designed for flight operators to achieve and assess high levels of safety and professionalism. The standards recommended by IS-BAO are based on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS), and is recognized by aviation authorities worldwide.

The IS-BAO Stage II is the most comprehensive third-party audit of SMS requirements, organization and personnel, standard operating procedures, training programs, flight operations, operations in international airspace, aircraft equipment requirements, aircraft maintenance requirements, company operations manual, emergency response plan, environmental management, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and security.

This IS-BAO Stage II registration adds up to Deer Jet’s numerous safety awards and certifications including its recently acquired Wyvern’s Wingman Standard, demonstrating through internationally recognized third-party audits that the company operates above global standards and best practices.

Operating and managing an impressive jet fleet of over 90 aircraft including the world’s only B797 “Dream Jet”, since its beginnings in 1995, Deer Jet has always put safety and operational excellence at the core of its corporate culture, offering best-in-class services on its flights to more than 820 cities across the world.

Deer Jet is already Platinum rated by ARGUS International and has achieved over 260 thousand hours of accident free operations, awarded by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) with the “Corporate Business Flying Safety Awards”. The private jet operator is also a pioneer in introducing advanced systems such as EFVS, HUD and EFB, which has allowed the company to perform the most challenging operations such as Tibetan Plateau and Polar flights.
