Air Partner, the leading private jet charter provider, has been hitting all the right notes this summer, transporting music makers and lovers all over the world for the hottest festivals and gigs. To Ibiza and beyond, the Private Jet team has been busy making sure artists and their fans get to the show on time – and that they feel at home even when in transit.
Air Partner kicked off its summer of music with flights to and from the International Music Summit in Ibiza in May, and since then it has been operating weekly flights in and out of the party island for a number of well-known performers. The team has also been busy chartering jets to and from the dizzying array of festivals taking place all across Europe – for both musicians and guests.
One recent success saw Air Partner organise a last-minute helicopter to fly in a well-known musician as a replacement when an original member of the band scheduled to play fell ill. Air Partner’s quick response kept the show on the road. On another occasion, the team organised three private jets to fly a celebrity chef, a famous pop group and other musical maestros to a large private musical event in Tivat, Montenegro.
This action-packed summer concludes a successful year for the Private Jets team, in which time it has arranged a total of 120 flights for its music industry clients, flying them to 90 airports across four continents. Being a specialist in the sector, with over 50 years’ experience, Air Partner is able to provide solutions to even the most complex requests, which is why its clients call upon its services time and time again.
Air Partner attends key music conferences and events throughout the year to stay in tune with the needs of the music industry. From lengthy rock tours to one-off flights for orchestras, the team has extensive experience in managing the tightest of schedules and smoothing the way for the most demanding of artists. Dedicated account managers are on call 24/7, wherever their clients are in the world, to make sure every need is met.
Paul Kindred, Business Development Manager - Music & Entertainment - Private Jets at Air Partner, said: “It’s been a great summer for the Private Jets team and the first half of 2016 has been particularly strong in the music and live touring sector, with a substantial increase in charter bookings and new clients. Working directly with Artist Management, Tour Managers, Agents and Promoters we have been flying a number of high profile DJs within the EDM market throughout the season, helping to fulfil their hectic performance schedules; sometimes with up to four flights during a 24-hour period. We have recently successfully completed all the charter requirements for one of the world’s leading rock bands during their global tour, along with various other ad-hoc flights for many new upcoming artists. The global music and entertainment industry is an area of particular strategic focus for me and the team and I look forward to growing our client base even more in the coming year.”
