Emirates has launched its first Airbus A380 service to Scandinavia having touched down in Copenhagen on Tuesday.
The Dubai carrier is now providing a daily service to the Danish capital - its 36th A380 destination.
It is also Emirates’ first route to be operated with an A380 in a two-class configuration, with a capacity of 615 passengers in each direction.
Emirates has made the A380 the backbone of its fleet, with more than 70 on order, but the aircraft’s future remains uncertain as other airlines have steered clear of it.
Emirates has campaigned Airbus for a re-engined version, but the plane-manufacturer has yet to commit.
