The main terminal of the Grand Junction Regional Airport was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after someone accidentally released pepper spray.

Authorities discovered what had happened after several employees and customers in the northeast sign of the terminal started having respiratory issues.

The Grand Junction Fire Department says they're still trying to figure out how and why the pepper spray was released.
