Shenzhen Airlines (ZH), Shenzhen Airlines (ZH), a subsidiary of Air China (CA) recently has completed its two-year's cabin refurbishment, making the nation's leading airline with most luxury single-aisle cabins.
Since 2013, the Shenzhen-based carrier has renovated cabin interiors of its 36 aircraft, including 22 Airbus A320s and 14 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Considering into passenger comfort, Shenzhen Airlines removed one row six seats of economy class and kept eight first class seats, along with a 2-2 layout.
The revamp shrank the total seat number to 162 from 168 on B737-800s and to 152 from 158 on A320s, bringing 25% t 30% more legroom for first class passengers.
Meanwhile, Shenzhen Airlines further improved cabin amenities with First Class Recaro seat options for the first time on the 36 aircraft. The new, electrically actuated RECARO seats combine comfort and efficiency in an outstanding way. With 150 degree flat seats, passengers will experience a comfortable flight thanks to its generous recline and a built-in waist massage minimachine.
In addition, passengers can also expect upgraded in-flight services: a touch screen for in-flight entertainment, a USB port and electrical outlet under each seat.
Shenzhen Airlines has spent several hundred millions yuan on cabin improvement. As early as 2001, the airline firstly removed economy class seats, to offering spacious room for passengers. It is the fourth time the airline upgraded its cabins, which will adopt on its 24 A320s and 49 B737s.
