The Civil Aviation Authority offloaded all passengers onboard the Shaheen Airline flight NL-786 at the Bacha Khan International Airport yesterday on receiving intelligence information about a bomb suspected to be planted in the passenger plane.

Sources in the Aviation Department said that the plane was bound to leave for Dubai when officials received information about a suspected device. Soon after, teams offloaded all the passengers and searched the aircraft.

Tahir Sikandar, Aviaiton Manager Bacha Khan Airport, confirmed the serach and told that the authority had suspended all flight operations at Peshawar airport until the search operation continues.

Soon after the search operation, officials confirmed no bomb was on the aircraft. "Flight operations have been resumed at the Peshawar airport," a CAA official said.
