Latvian airline airBaltic has improved its online check-in system, allowing passengers to check-in for their flights up to five days before departure.
“This is good news for our customers. Now airBaltic passengers can check-in
and choose their preferred seats much earlier, up to five days before their scheduled departure,’’ said Laura Vecvanaga, Vice President Ground Operations and Customer Care at airBaltic.
The improved check-in service is available online at www.airbaltic.com. Online check-in is now available up to five days (118 hours) before the scheduled flight, instead of three days, as it was previously. Online check-in is available untill the check-in counter is closed at the departure airport. After checking in online, passengers who do not have check-in baggage can go straight to security control. Meanwhile, those passengers who have check-in baggage can drop it off at the designated baggage drop-off point.
Passengers who prefer personalised check-in service at the airport check-in desk, can choose to have it for a fee of EUR 30. Registration for free is also available at the self-check-in kiosks at Riga, Stockholm and Copenhagen airports.
airBaltic serves over 60 destinations from its home base in Riga, Latvia. From every one of these locations, airBaltic offers convenient connections via Riga to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, CIS and the Middle East. In addition, airBaltic also offers new direct flights from Tallinn and Vilnius.
