Since May 1st 2017, Air France has been operating daily flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Montreal (Canada) with the second of its Boeing 787. To celebrate the launch of this new aircraft, the Montreal-Trudeau airport fire department gave the company’s new B787 the traditional water salute on arrival.

Montreal is the first transatlantic destination served by Air France with this new generation aircraft, equipped with 30 seats in Business class, 21 seats in Premium Economy and 225 seats in Economy class.

“We are very proud to be able to offer our Montreal customers the first chance to experience this aircraft on Air France’s long-haul network,” said Jean-Noël Rault, Vice-President and General Manager of Air France-KLM in Canada.

Philippe Rainville, President and CEO of Aéroports de Montréal, said: “Air France is one of our first airlines, serving Montreal-Trudeau for nearly 70 years. Over the years, it has been constantly renewing its fleet while at the same time improving the quality of customer service. We are delighted to welcome Air France’s B787’s first transatlantic commercial flight to Montreal-Trudeau.”

more comfort and space with the new Premium Economy seats;
windows that are approximately 30% larger than on similar aircraft;
improved air pressure and enhanced in-flight humidity levels for greater travel comfort.

Montreal, second most served destination in North America by Air France
