Air Caraïbes is pleased to receive its third Airbus A350-1000, registered F-HSIS, which strengthens its current fleet, made up of 14 aircraft. The development of the fleet is a sign of the Dubreuil Group's confidence in the market and its companies. This ultra-modern device, which allows a 25% reduction in fuel consumption, confirms the company's strategy in favor of the environment. It made its first commercial flight today, Tuesday December 28, 2021. The F-HSIS took off at 13:21 from Paris-Orly 4 bound for Fort-de-France (Martinique).

An increasingly environmentally friendly fleet

On December 20, 2019, Air Caraïbes put into service its first Airbus A350-1000, registered F-HMIL, then a second on June 22, 2021, registered F-HTOO, and this third, registered F-HSIS, which strengthens its fleet December 28, 2021. It was the first French company to operate this high-performance, innovative device, but also more respectful of the environment, as a reminder:

  • Its ultra-modern design as well as its Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines allow a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions compared to competing aircraft of the previous generation.
  • It is the quietest aircraft in its category, with 50% reduction in noise pollution compared to previous generation aircraft: the exterior noise level of the A350900 is certified 22 EPNdB (Effective Perceived) lower. Noise Decibel) to the requirements of ICAO Chapter 4.

The Air Caraïbes fleet now consists of 14 aircraft: 3 A350-1000, 3 A350-900, 2 A330-300, 1 A330-200, 3 ATR 72-600.

Optimized comfort for all passengers

The quieter A350-1000 cabins, featuring better ambient lighting, more space, improved pressurization, a high-definition entertainment system and Wi-Fi connection, will offer all the necessary comfort for passengers through the different travel classes:

  • Madras Class (Business): 24 seats
  • Caribbean Class (Premium Economy): 45 seats
  • Sun Class (Economy): 360 seats

In addition, this device is equipped with an air renewal system (High Efficiency Particulate - HEPA) particularly efficient, allowing to eliminate particles up to the size of microscopic bacteria or viruses with an efficiency greater than 99 , 99%. The filtered air in the cabins is also completely renewed every 3 minutes, for optimized safety and comfort.
