Two new accreditations for London Oxford Airport

London Oxford Airport has been awarded two new accreditations. Its OxfordJet FBO has become one of the first FBO’s in the UK to receive the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH).

The airport’s OxfordJet FBO passed the highly stringent audit in December following an external assessment by an IBAC-accredited (International Business Aviation Council) auditor, with the endorsement awarded in just six months.

Andi Alexander, managing director of London Oxford Airport said: “IS-BAH is an important international endorsement for OxfordJet and our ground handling team. We are pleased to have achieved this recognition so promptly. A special mention should go to our great team led by Laura Conalty, terminal manager and Kieran Meikle, operations manager, who have worked so hard to surpass such a comprehensive assessment.”

IS-BAH incorporates the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Program and follows the structure of the IS-BAO programme. It is part of a joint initiative run by IBAC and US NATA (National Air Transportation Association).

London Oxford has also achieved formal recognition from Gulfstream Aerospace for approved ground handling. This news follows an increasing number of Gulfstream business jets, including the new Gulfstream G650, utilising the OxfordJet FBO on a regular basis, both based and visiting.

As the fourth busiest FBO in the UK, handling over 8,000 passengers per annum and over 5,500 private aircraft movements, Oxford is one of the primary London region options for the business aviation community.

London Oxford Airport is closely connected with London Heliport at Battersea, it offers a unique package to clients using both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

London Oxford Airport is wholly owned by the Reuben Brothers, London Heliport was purchased by the brothers in February 2012.
