Security Computer Glitch Resolved at D/FW Airport: Officials
All operations are back to normal after a U.S. Department of Homeland Security computer system experienced a service disruption at several U.S. aurports Wednesday, including at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said the problem was with the computers and kiosks used by passengers arriving in the United States at airports nationwide, NBC News reported.
D/FW Airport officials said the problem occurred at a time when there are not many international flights, so there were no major issues or delays.
Passengers were waiting for an average of 30 minutes due to the outage, D/FW Airport officials said.
