The municipality of Boulder City, Nevada, has awarded development rights to 40 acres of land at Boulder City Municipal Airport to High Flying Hangars, based on the company’s proposed hangar development. High Flying Hangars was one of several respondents to an open request for proposal for the development opportunity.Boulder City Municipal Airport is expected to see an overall increase in fuel sales and other revenues, in addition to the residual benefit to the community surrounding the airport, such as people visiting the historic town, or going to a restaurant, or sightseeing at nearby Hoover Dam, for which Boulder City is a gateway. The airport sits 13 nm / 15 sm east of Henderson Executive Airport and 16 nm / 18.4 sm southeast of Harry Reid International Airport in the Las Vegas metro area.

The economic impact will extend well beyond the airport’s footprint.”
