FlyBaghdad outlines plans for route expansion
FlyBaghdad is planning to start flying to Dubai and launch routes to Europe at the start of next year, Gulf News reported.
The airlines regional commercial managaer, Mohammad Abdali told Gulf News: “FlyBaghdad is finalising its schedule and hopes to soon launch daily services to Dubai. The airline will start flights to Iranian cities Tehran, Isfahan and Mashhad on October 16, and is also planning on flying to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.”
Abdali also highlighted London, Stockholm and Dusseldorf as potential destinations for the airline.
FlyBaghdad currently operates Bombardier CRJ-200 regional jets and two Airbus A320s.
The airline operates routes to Arbil, Sulaymaniyah, Najaf and Basra, and has also started flights to Istanbul, Tbilisi, Kuwait and Bahrain.
