Air Leisure signs for four SuperJets
Egypt's Air Leisure has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for four SSJ 100-95s with options for six more, ch-aviation has reported.
The agreement was signed with Sukhoi Civil Aircraft, and Russia's Minister of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov has said the first aircraft will arrive by the end of the year.
The deal also includes the possibility of developing a joint-venture with an undisclosed third party, which could lead to Air Leisure acquiring up to 45 SuperJets over a three-year span.
“The deal depends on many factors, in particular financial conditions, which we are working through with our financial institutions. There is good will and a clear program of which aircraft will be replaced by our Sukhoi Superjet," Manturov told Rossiya 24 news.
